FKM-China is a wholly owned subsidiary of FKM-Germany. The headquarter was founded in 1967 and it is located in Duisburg, which is the center of the German steel industry about 60km west of Dortmund. In the year 2000, FKM-USA has been set up in Chicago, USA, to provide complete design and build services for the US steel and automotive market. FKM-China is located in the German Industry Park of Kun Shan City, which is an excellent geographic position about 50km west of Shanghai. FKM China mainly produces rolls with non-woven covering and plays a leading role in the development and manufacture of new roller coverings, finishing technologies and production process improvements for applications in different industries.. Washing machines in blanking lines and press lines are an important application in the automotive industry. The rolls are also used in rinse tanks, pickling lines, cold rolling mills, splitting lines, skin pass mills or quench tanks in the steel industry.
